The next innovations in Internet of Things and Wearable Technologies presented at Innovation World Cup Conference in Oulu on May 19, 2015

Oulu/Herrsching 19 May 2015 – The Innovation World Cup Series is the global market leader for open innovation platforms. Once again it took place in Oulu and came with its partners to boost the networking between global tech giants and innovative Finnish companies.

140 attendees joined the event, which was organized in co-operation with Business Oulu, Yritystakomo, Center for Internet Excellence, and Oulu Chamber of Commerce at SuperPark Oulu and listened to informative and entertaining speeches from STMicroelectronics, MediaTek Labs, Gemalto, ARM, and many more.

“Oulu is the perfect location to discuss the future of the Internet of Things and wearables as a lot of great developers and also tech companies are located here” states Christian Stammel, CEO of Navispace and founder of the Innovation World Cup Series. “We have seen a lot of Finnish innovations especially in the wearables arena, and want to promote this innovation strength internationally.”

Besides technology giants like STMicroelectronics, MediaTek Labs and Gemalto, the Innovation World Cup Conference in Oulu showed three highly innovative Finnish tech start-ups, Thingsee, FilmMe Group and Zemeho, and provided attendees with valuable insights into cutting-edge technologies and solution.

The Get-together, sponsored by MediaTek Labs, with beer and hotdogs was another great opportunity to network, make new contacts or simply have good time and accomplish a great day full of innovations.
