Mohan is Founder & CEO of Fanplay IoT. He has more than 23 years experience in Biomedical, Semiconductor & Healthcare industries and 5 years of research experience in Neurotech & Wearable systems. Mohan has worked extensively in product innovation and recently, led a team at Philips Healthcare to launch a low-cost, portable ECG for emerging markets like India.

Magnus has 38 years in international ICT business in small and large companies including Apple, IBM, 3Com, Springworks, BrainHeart Capital, Stream Analyze, MTEK Industry, High Mobility, BuddyCompany and THINGS. Magnus is self-employed focusing on the Digital Transformation and Mobility enabled by IoT.

Angela McIntyre manages the eWEAR affiliates program and provides member companies opportunities to connect with research and events related to wearables at Stanford University. Before joining Stanford University, she was the lead consultant for industry research on wearables at Gartner. She advised companies bringing emerging wearable technology to market. Her research included wearables as part of the IoT, for AI applications, for healthcare and as human-machine interfaces.

Paul is a full professor of AI at the RPTU University of Kaiserslautern and heads the Embedded Intelligence group at DFKI. He coordinates the HumanE AI project, and has served on the TPCs (including TPC Chair) of all the main conferences within his research area. His research focuses on context-aware ubiquitous and wearable systems including sensing, pattern recognition, system architectures, models of large-scale self-organized systems, and applications

Johanna is a Project Manager at the Digital Health Application Center GmbH (dmac), a spin-off of Medical Valley, Germany´s leading cluster in med-tech and health. She supports health institutions, start-ups and enterprises to contribute to the healthcare of tomorrow.

Marco is a Product and Business Development Strategist. Since 2020, he supports startups with his profound expertise in wellness and fitness technologies and markets. Previously, he worked for more than 15 years at Polar, where he served as CSO.

Willem has 30 years of experience in global high-tech industries as executive. He held positions as board member, CTO etc. Since 2014 active as board member, venture partner, corporate venture capital advisor, business angel and founding partner of Corporate Ventures Advisory.

Jens is leading the Systems Division with a 110+ scientist and engineers in its strategic Medical Device Technology and Scientific Instrumentation research activity. His expertise in the field has led to a series of key patents, successful technology transfers and start-ups. During his 10-year service as a Board member, he presided the Swiss Society of Biomedical Engineering (SSBE).

Markus works over 30 years in the semiconductor industry, holding various positions primarily at EBV Elektronik, the leading semiconductor specialist in EMEA. For a decade, he served as Director of Segment Healthcare and Personal Devices at EBV, contributing to the success of numerous start-ups.

Bjoern (SM, IEEE) heads the Machine Learning and Data Analytics (MaD) Lab at the FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg. He is also the founding spokesperson of FAU’s Department of Artificial Intelligence in Biomedical Engineering (AIBE), spokesperson of the German Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Action GAIA-X use case project “TEAM-X” and co-spokesperson of the German Research Foundation collaborative research center “EmpkinS”.

Johannes is responsible for the Open Bosch activities started in 2018. He joined Bosch in 2005 and was involved in various projects for sensors, power electronics and robotics. He is an expert in innovation and business models and lead various projects, groups and initiatives within Bosch. He holds a technical degree in engineering (Dipl.-Ing. MEMS, University Freiburg) as well as a business degree (MBE, Steinbeis University Berlin). Also he is a certified PMP professional.

Nick is a technology strategist, serial entrepreneur and author. Since 2009, he is CTO at WIFore. Previously, he has managed successful exits to large tech companies and promoted technical strategies leading to billion-dollar market opportunities.

Roberta Gilardi is founder and CEO of G-Gravity and G2 Startups, two business accelerators in Milan, Italy. Roberta is a TEDx speaker, certified business coach and an innovation expert with over 25 years of experience.

Alba is in charge of the ICT sector companies within ACCIÓ, the Catalan trade and investment agency which helps businesses boost their competitiveness through innovation and internationalization. She helps companies to find technological partners abroad through ACCIÓ’s 40 foreign offices.

Simon has more than 25 years’ experience in the semiconductor and IOT business. For the last 10 years he has been responsible for ASIC and IOT business development at CSEM, working with a team of experts to support both SMEs and large corporations worldwide to develop innovative products and strengthen their competitive position via technology transfer and IP licensing.

Dr. Eaimkhong worked as a scientist and manager at two start-ups: Matrix Sensor & B2P Global to develop novel biosensing platforms before joining a global life-science management consulting firm in California and Singapore. He has been working closely with many large pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical companies to develop business, market access and regulatory strategies.

Joseph, founder of Technology Ventures Group in Silicon Valley, advises global corporations on technology innovations and the startup ecosystem. He co-founded Lab360 Hardware Incubator, specializing in investing in and accelerating healthcare-focused wearable and IoT startups. He has international business operations experience with prior roles at DEC and SGI, as well as with Inventec Corporation and NEC. He is a senior member and a board member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
