More than 600 startups, scale-ups, and techpreneurs worldwide submitted their solutions in the Innovation World Cup®, the international award and catalyst for future innovations in the Internet of Things, Wearable Technologies and DeepTech. Each submission was evaluated by an international jury board, considering factors such as innovation, technological feasibility, marketing and go-to-market approach, time to market, commercial potential, and sustainability. 6th Smart Building / Smart Construction Innovation World Cup®

The pitch and award ceremony held on November 28th at BIM World MUNICH featured the Top 40 Smart Building/Smart Construction Innovators of 2023, chosen from a pool of more than 150 solutions representing over 50 countries. Following these pitches, a live jury evaluated innovations based on innovation level, go-to-market approach, commercial potential, and sustainability, ultimately announcing the Top 8 Smart Building/Smart Construction companies: COBOD International, ecoworks, Hysopt, GeoVisual Interactive, SE3 Labs ,minimass, Sodex Innovations and BeiT. These Top 8 companies then competed in the Grand Pitch & Award Ceremony at the Congress State at BIM World MUNICH on 29th of November, undergoing the same criteria-based evaluation by a live jury. The winners of the 6th Smart Building/Smart Construction Innovation World Cup were then selected. 1st place: Sodex Innovations from Austria, 2nd place: minimass from UK, 3rd place: ecoworks from Germany.

The pitch and award ceremony of the 12th MEDICA Start-up COMPETITION was hosted at the 10th MEDICA CONNECTED HEALTHCARE FORUM, the worldwide hub for health innovations, on Tuesday, 14th of November. More than +280 start-ups from across 50 countries submitted their solutions in AI in healthcare, health apps, lab diagnostics, and robotics. The MEDICA App COMPETITION powered by Roche & Bayer G4A is unique of its kind in searching for the best app- and platform-based medical solutions. The 8th edition was a blast, with the official Pitch & Award Ceremony taking place at the 6th MEDICA CONNECTED HEALTHCARE FORUM, the hotspot for digital healthcare in MEDICA, Düsseldorf on 19th November 2019. 15 finalists from all continents impressed the jury with their presentations and product demonstration live on stage. The TECH START-UP 2019 AWARD powered by Würth Elektronik introduced the top 12 future tech superstars. The pitch and award ceremony took place at StartupCon, for the first time co-hosted with DIGITAL X in Cologne. The jury on board from Würth Elektronik, EBV Elektronik, Microtronics, VARTA Microbattery, High-Tech Gründerfonds and Coparion had a challenging task to select the top 3 winners from industrial, city, healthcare, transport, sports & lifestyle, and agriculture industries. Smart Territory Digital Challenges 2019

The Smart Territory Digital Challenges 2019 first edition supported by BIM World Paris was a great playground for start-ups, scale-ups and SMEs who aimed to take the lead in smart construction, smart building and innovative urban planning. The IoT/M2M Innovation World Cup® 2016/2017 was a blast! The competition covered five categories namely Smart City | Industrial | Automotive | Transport, Logistics & Surveillance | and Healthcare. The Galileo Masters / European Satellite Navigation Competition (ESNC) 2004–2010 was supported by partners: Anwendungszentrum Oberpfaffenhofen, Deutschen Zentrums für Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR), European Space Agency (ESA), Navteq, and T-Systems. The ESNC, the world´s largest and most successful innovation competition for satellite navigation, was set up and organized by Navispace AG from 2004-2010. During this period, a whole ecosystem of around 20 international regions and 180 experts were set up. Since its inception, thousands of participants joined the competition. The contest is today the leading global network in the segment of global navigation systems, looking for new products, services and innovative businesses in the satellite navigation sector to encourage the use of satellite navigation in people´s everyday life.
