The IOT game changers 2018 of the IOT/WT Innovation World Cup® announced!

Munich, 22nd of December From new means of connecting developed hardware to ground-breaking technologies, the evolving IoT innovations are contributing to solving thousands of issues that people face in their everyday lives. And this year the IOT/WT Innovation World Cup® 2017/18 dived into these opportunities.

This edition of the IOT/WT Innovation World Cup® was extraordinary with more than 900 contestants worldwide, registering to the competition and submitting their pioneering solutions. Convinced by their innovativeness, technological feasibility, market readiness and strategic approaches, our panel of judges had the difficult task of selecting the top IoT finalists of the IOT/WT Innovation World Cup® 2017/18 in six categories (city, healthcare, home & lifestyle, industrial, retail and transportation).

And now you can connect with the best 32 out of 940 in Barcelona. The pitch and award ceremony will be hosted by ACCIO, the official Innovation World Cup® Series partner in Spain and will take place at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on February 27th at 5.15 PM. The Innovation World Cup® finalists will present their solutions live to an audience of industry experts, media and representatives from the Innovation World Cup® partners: STMicroelectronics, LoRa Alliance™, Gemalto, EBV Elektronik, Telefonica Next, AIQ Smart Clothing, VARTA Microbattery and Cicor Group.
