Adventum Tech is a UK-based technology company developing wireless real-time monitoring solutions, to enhance safety and efficiency in the construction industry. Adventum Tech secured second place at the 7th Smart Building / Smart Construction Innovation World Cup® at BIM World MUNICH.
- HOW DID IT ALL START?
We founded Adventum Tech in 2020, as a result of ambitions to change the way construction industry within general contracting works. We wanted to deliver a complete system for project managers that could run their projects and base their decision making on the real-time factual data rather than consultants’ opinion, theoretical calculation or assumption.
Consultants – tend to overdesign things to avoid the risk.
Theoretical calculations – never present real life conditions and environment
Assumptions – is a guess.
Therefore, our goal still by this day is to deliver comprehensive real-time systems for daily and long term decision making. Adventum from Latin, means Future, therefore we were a bit futuristic from the first go, and went for Future Technologies. But do not get me wrong, we constantly crave for new technological solutions and our R&D team is a real future team.
2. WHAT ARE THE KEY MILESTONES YOU HAVE REACHED SO FAR?
We are a bootstrap company, focusing only on our funds. By this date we managed to develop a modular real time monitoring system for any “metric” to monitor in real-time using wireless technology. We are delivering our services already to more than 15 countries and are constantly investigating new collaboration horizons.
3.WHAT WERE THE BIGGEST CHALLENGES YOU HAVE FACED?
What did you learn? If you had to start all over again, what is the one thing you would do differently and what is the one thing that you would never change in your approach? What recommendations do you have for upcoming start-ups in your ecosystem?
Well, if we would have to start over again, we would do it the same way. We focus on the technology, on the system first, and then we scale it. We never went for inappropriate marketing without having technological expertise in place. Therefore, since we are very self paced, and focused on the quality of our products first hand, we would do it over again in the same manner. We pivot constantly, every day there is a technological, supply-chain or other type of challenge to solve, and our team is very excited to solve them and move forward.
4. WHAT IS COMING IN THE NEAR FUTURE?
The future at this stage consists of 4 main verticals:
1. Strengthen the quality with new technologies arising
2. Scale the team
3. Deliver new solutions
4. Enter new markets and build alliance collaborations with local stakeholders.

Participating in the Smart Construction Innovation World Cup® has been a milestone for Adventum Tech. Being recognized among the top global techpreneurs validated our vision to transform structural health monitoring from reactive to real-time, wireless, and predictive. The competition gave us exposure to thought leaders, innovators, and decision-makers shaping the future of the built environment. What impressed us most was the depth of industry-specific knowledge across all participants and the genuine interest in sustainability through technology.
