BEFC WINS THE 4TH EBV IOT HERO 2021!

And the winner of the 4th EBV IOT HERO is…BeFC – Bioenzymatic Fuel Cell!

This year, the “Oscars for best European IoT Innovators” powered by EBV Elektronik, Europe’s largest semiconductor distributor, supporting European IoT start-ups in successfully realizing their products and entering the market, happened at the 39th WT|Wearable Technologies Conference EUROPE on 28 April 2021.

The finals of the 4th EBV IOT HERO took place during the exciting 12th IOT/WT Innovation World Cup® pitch and award ceremony, where the world´s top 15 wearable and EBV IOT HERO finalists pitched their solutions live.

The top4 ground-breaking European IoT Innovators 2021 running for the prize have been selected among over 600 contestants running in the 12th IOT/WT Innovation World Cup® (in alphabetical order):

The presentation of these disruptive solutions on stage has been a tight race, concluding in the live evaluation of the jury dropping the curtain and crowning the winner: BeFC – Bioenzymatic Fuel Cell!

BeFC makes electricity with papers and enzymes. In addition, BeFC provides dedicated digital platforms combining sensors, microprocessors and low energy wireless communication modules.
