Mobile Keyboard by IN10DID, Inc
This is the DecaTxt micro mobile keyboard and a new way to touch-type without looking at a touch screen for mobile devices. We have developed a simple method to provide the full keyboard with only ten keys so people on the move can type more safely with only one hand. This is a limited chord keyboard using two finger sequential chords for 90 keystrokes and ten single press keystrokes to provide every letter, number or symbol with direct access to all without changing menus. The DecaTxt is about the size of a credit card but provides larger keys with physical switches for good feedback. In addition to this configuration, the system can be applied directly to the fingertips such that to it can provide computer access on the handles of a bike, imbedded in a belt or the tips of gloves. A single press provides 10 letters, a thumb shift provides eight more and the other thumb shift provides the last eight letters of the 26 letter alphabet.
